I think there is an admin curse. I played on the servers maybe every night for about a year, and then i became an admin and my world crashed onto me. I have played maybe ten times in the last 2 months. The same thing happened to Niceguy, i swear.
Upshot, you don't want to become an admin, or busy things will happen to you.
That is weird. Same thing here... I didn't even have to get very busy; I just got disinterested in the game. Creepy. |

I admin'd servers for Invade-Defend (I still wear the tag: .id) for years and the only reason I'd go into the game in the end is because someone summoned me through our IRC bots to ban a hacker :/ Then I got lazy and just started doing that from IRC too. Sigh. When playing the game becomes a job, it stops being fun. |

I would like to nominate myself for small admin powers on #3. Not a lot of people are on and I'd appreciate having a little control on the server. Just today I couldn't get in touch with any admins for a small problem on #3.

Admins can fuck around when there are few people and they are regs, otherwise you are encouraging people to leave. I can't timebomb or drug people, so I just kick random regs when we're trying to seed w/ few people. ^.^ |
