My dad makes great sausage from scratch. We have one of those ReadyMade mixers with the attachments.

So I can say that homemade brats kill the shit out of johnsonsville or any other storebought stuff.

Re: Favorite food/recipes - Live-Free-Or-Pie - 04-26-2011

2 boxes frozen meatballs
2 cans cream of celery
2 cans French Onion soup (Campbells)
16oz container sour cream

Dump all in crock pot, put it on high, do something else for 3ish hours, serve over egg noodles, slice of canned cranberry sauce for great justice

save leftovers, still good

Gross

Re: Favorite food/recipes - shoopfox - 04-26-2011

I'm making pineapple buns filled with mole sauce. Normally I'd put curry in them but I guess mole is kinda like mexican curry.

An amazing bakery here is hiring bakers and they prefer no experience. That's kinda cool that they want to train them properly instead of getting a baker with bad habits. I almost want to apply to learn how to make yummy things.

Be aware that you'd most likely be working third shift. Like 2AM to 10AM or so.

"the shore thing" is an omelet containing smoked ham, jumbo lump crab meat, shrimp, swiss cheese, and a dusting of old bay (of which I added more). Being a huge fan of shellfish and omelets I enjoyed this quite a lot. However, crab and shrimp don't go perfectly with eggs. It was quite tasty but I feel like I enjoy crab a lot more alone or with something else, but that didn't stop me from eating into a food coma. It was eaten at the gourmet yet heavily overpriced "miss shirley's" in baltimore.
