Id try updating your drivers and doing some google-fu with something like "New Vegas Crash (Your Graphics card here)"

Also re-validate your steam files, Ive had to redownload the game...TWICE, because it corrupted itself, like all 5.5 gigs, because they decide to use a handful of HUEG files instead of lots of smaller ones

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - Surf314 - 01-03-2011

Wow there is so much shit to do in this game.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - Surf314 - 01-04-2011

I'm trying to decide between house and wild card and I'm leaning towards wild card. Anyone have any tips? I kinda don't trust yes man though.

Mr. House's ending is pretty boss

"Back to Vegas shall we? I really should do something about that monorail - with all the new resources at hand I could make sure that it not only runs, but runs on time. Always bothered me, the imprecision"

Name the reference!

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - Eschatos - 01-05-2011

I thought House's ending was the bad ending(because it's the easiest option).  Wild card all the way.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - beep beep diglett - 01-05-2011

house ending depends on your actions and karma. a lot of stuff is absolute under the other endings, but with house you can get all sorts of stuff (spoiler: if you get the kings to fight the ncr he lets them stay). also, how he acts depends on your karma, you end up regulating him.

There is always one that fails to validate, I do it after every crash.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - Versus - 01-06-2011

my TOTALLY LEGIT copy worked just fine ;D

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - Surf314 - 01-06-2011

I'm thinking about deleting it and reinstalling it

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - Surf314 - 01-07-2011

I'm going to have to reinstall. If I delete local game files it won't touch my saves right? Couldn't find where they were stored to back them up somewhere.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - at0m - 01-07-2011

if its like FO3, they're in your my documents folder i think. You may want to double check that before you kill it though.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas - Surf314 - 01-07-2011

Reinstalled, game saves intact but 30 sec in the game froze. I dunno what to do from here.
