There's always Left 4 Dead whenever it does manage to hit the market. I'm gonna be all over that Bill Clinton on any woman that's not his wife.

Thats a shame.  Civ 4 is a awesome game.

I for one am actually looking forward to Demi-God when it comes out.  Could be the sleeper hit for the PC?

Re: NON-TF2 PC games - Wedge - 04-04-2008

I haven't played Civ since Civ II, but I'd still try that.

Also I would suggest a big game of Heroes of M'n'M III XD.

Don't like RTS, but I love me some TBS.

Re: NON-TF2 PC games - Versus - 04-04-2008

HL2DM is pretty fun. it's easy to find an empty server and just hijack it for a FnF or two

Any game where a kill icon is a flying toilet is instant win.

Civ IV ftmfw, also I'd like to play a total war game with a live person at least once, god I love those games.

Re: NON-TF2 PC games - copulatingduck - 04-10-2008

Y'know, I just thought of it, and it's a long shot, but here goes: Anyone ever played Emperor: Battle for Dune? I loved that game as much as the first 2~3 books in the series, but by the time my little corner of the world had internet access Westwood was long gone, so I never to try playing online. If anyone has it and is interested in whooping on some poor noob's ass, I'd be more than willing to dig it up again so you could have your way with me.  ;D

Arg, Total War games are either hit or miss online.  War Elephants are so unbalanced and unrealistic its not even fair.  Unless previous patches fixed that sort of thing.

Wow, I didn't even know this game existed.  Thought they stopped after Dune 2000.  Dune II was my first computer game, believe it or not.  I started by playing Warcraft II, but my first PC had Dune II already on it.  Good memories.

Did they ever fix the lag?

Original beta release had some ridiculous net code issues

Re: NON-TF2 PC games - Mission Difficult - 04-14-2008

Emperor was pretty cool. There were some mods for it, right? I think I have Golden Eye Source but I haven't run it in a while.

I don't remember, to be honest, I haven't played it in ages.

There also is that Pirate Ninja Viking Knight Robot 2 mod out thar.  Haven't tried it though.
