I believe that's when they start airing this season on BBC in the US. It's always on a delay.

They have to go into the episodes and find every time they say "biscuits" and make it "cookies"

Re: Favorite TV Shows - Maxon - 08-01-2011

Unless you saw that it was the American version...Which was not very good.  Maybe the series got better in other ways, but those hosts are terrible.  I kinda like the one comedian guy, but nothing about them work.  Feels so forced, at least with the two episodes I watched.  It's not remotely as entertaining to watch as the BBC version, especially when the American version utilizes some of the scenarios from the BBC one.

Jesus christ, tonight's breaking bad......

Re: Favorite TV Shows - Maxon - 08-11-2011

I'm worried about this next season of The Walking Dead.  Not only has there been issues with the writers for the series, they just fired Darabont, the director of the series and replaced him with someone that apparently did a crappy tv show before.  While the initial episodes of the second season might not suffer, I'm unsure of the last half and the eventual third season if they can hold it together.

Yeah the show is ka-put. The mad men guy asking for 30 million dollars fucked over both BB and WD. I know BB is looking for a new station for season 5, and I think I read on io9 or something that AMC wanted Darabont to do 13 episodes for what less than the original 6 cost.

*EDIT*
Ah, just read about the AMC thing.  I guess they are fucking over their big shows.  They are some stupid idiots :\

I'm excited for another episode of Breaking Bad. The last episode was pretty tense

The next episode is even better than the first. Get excited.

I'm interested in breaking bad, is that one of those shows that you can know a bit about and drop into IE House, or is it more along the lines of LOST where if you haven't watched all of it you're fucked.

OMG tonight's breaking bad.......... i nearly shat myself it was so good.

But no, you can't just jump into it, but the episodes are like pringles, you don't stop with one.  Just give the first season a chance.  There aren't too many of them.

i agree with this.
its a show that is very character driven, you need to watch from the beginning to see how the events that happen affect the characters.

Re: Favorite TV Shows - Squishy3 - 08-19-2011

this is a reminder for those that haven't seen the wire, should see the wire. when criminals use a show to come up with counter-police tactics, you know the show is damn good.

Re: Favorite TV Shows - Eschatos - 08-19-2011

Wilfred is as retarded as it is awesome.  And it's pretty damn awesome.

Apparently my buddies put me in charge of marathons this year. So far I got Game of Thrones, and Seasons 1 -3 of Breaking Bad. Anything else that deserves to be on this list?
