Re: The Legend of Korra - Evil Cheese - 06-02-2012

I'm constantly surprised at the the themes this cartoon explores. I have to say I'm impressed. I don't think I've seen another western cartoon that touches on such sensitive and relevant subject matter. Let's have more cartoons like this, Nickelodeon. I just hope they don't use up all their steam on the first season.

Re: The Legend of Korra - Kor - 06-03-2012

Calling it here, Aang-Korra spirit convo next episode.

Otherwise, I'm wondering why they decided to have Korra play by the rules this long.

I'm going to be extremely disappointed if you don't voice adult Aang.

Re: The Legend of Korra - Squishy3 - 06-11-2012

This is how the season finale is going to go down.

They defeat Amon in the first 25 minutes, the gang pulls off his mask and all look shocked but it isn't revealed to the viewers.

The rest of the season finale is dedicated to the Mako Korra Asami love triangle.

I really hope no one from team avatar loses their bending.

Re: The Legend of Korra - Vlambo - 06-12-2012

I've decided to watch The original Avatar Completely. I've watched it here and there, and know what happens, but I haven't watched every episode.

I really hope Asami doesn't become a vengeful bitch and do something stupid.

Amon is a senile Aang who took away his own bending

The most plausible theory I've seen is Amon is nobody in particular, learned energy bending, the catch is he absorbs the bending of the people he energy bends instead of just taking it away entirely. So far we've seen him mostly only energy bend people who have special bending powers. Lightning Bolt Zolt, can use lightning. The metal bender police he captured, because, well they can metal bend. And Tarrlok, one of the only people who can bloodbend without a full moon.

I hope that isn't the case.. it would be "borrowing" so much from One Piece it would only work against it.

[/quote]You're acting like One Piece invented stealing powers from one another. The situation I described would be more like Tobi from Naruto.

Meelo is the youngest of Tenzin's children, making his bending the most undeveloped. Because of this, he is picked on by older benders.
In an attempt to get back at other benders, he dons the persona of Amon, using his spirit bending powers he inherited from his grandfather, Aang, he saps the bending from other benders.
Haven't you noticed that Meelo and Amon are never on screen at the same time?

Amon is actually all of Tenzins kids standing on each others shoulders in the suit.
They were able to get around the blood bending because Tarlokk though it was only one person and simply bloodbended the feet which they then compelled into action with airbending
The girls are being manipulated / controlled by the dark lord Meelo who knows energy bending and is an agent of chaos.
