How'd you manage two start menus?
There's some free (and not free) software out there meant for optimizing dual displays. I'm currently on a 30-day trial of "DisplayFusion", which handles things like shortcuts, taskbars, and backgrounds. If I could I'd get rid of the actual second start menu, and just leave the remainder of the taskbar. Alas, I'll probably have to keep experimenting with software to get that.

I suggest pony-ing up for an actual license of Display Fusion. My roommate and I split one, and its a great overall program.

If I could quote this any harder I would, I've got a Pro Personal license @ $35 - that's unlimited PC's, and considering I have 6 screens over 3 computers on my desk, it's quite nice.

Also Eightball, the option you want is deceptively simple to find. Click for fullsize (Direct attention to menus, lower left.)

Rainmeter. Get it.

It's easy to use and there are tons of ways to customize.

My current laptop. Nothing special, just rainmeter with supercolossal clock. Hack the planet

No clocks. No icons. Only Rockknight.

The image is something I got from a friend quite some time ago, been using it since. ...Though it probably is about time for a new desktop...

I just have mine cycle through a couple pictures. I'll need to try rainmeter again on my new rig I'm getting in a couple days.

Re: Your Desktop Wallpapers - K2 - 03-19-2013

I have a big slideshow of about 50 pics I've taken from the Astronomy Pic of the Day. They have a lot of really awesome pictures on there. These are a few that I use.

I couldn't care less about icons because I always have a window open.
