That was just complete and utter cruelty. Sponsored by Nintendo.

I love the sidequests... Skyloft is awesome and there needs to be more side quests available at all times.  :<<

Wow this game is some great story telling. The end of the second dungeon really did make me feel a little shitty inside.

Mind blown. I just wanna watch that cutscene over and over. Also,
best conversation option ever: 'Am I late?' *trollface*
Re: LoZ Skyward Sword (Reviews are in!) - KarthXLR - 11-23-2011

The fourth dungeon boss was really fun, much better than the previous few. Only complaint so far is that the dungeons are kind of simplistic, but at the same time they're a lot of fun.

How challenging is the game?

Puzzles are less thought provoking but more fun due to incredibly creative design and innovation.

There is a mode that is unlocked after beating the game called Hero Mode which is basically skyward on hard. It makes the fighting harder, rather than the puzzles, but god damn it I died to a Skulltula. Combat in this game is significantly harder than before, but much much better.
backfire has clearly never played ocarina of time on master quest, where the dungeons are all mirrored and enemies do shit tons more damage

No I've played masters quest. It's that it was a one time thing for an old N64 game. What I'm excited for is that a new Zelda game actually has a hard mode right at launch.

I don't want to do it again. Loved the 1st flame dungeon though. Fantastic.

Re: LoZ Skyward Sword (Reviews are in!) - Maxon - 11-27-2011

Certainly enjoying the game, even with my annoyance of motion controls.  They work fine, and I feel a controller would've been better, but it's certainly alot better than Twilight Princess and I'm just at the first dungeon.  Nice playing Zelda again as I haven't played one since Twilight Princess came out.

Re: LoZ Skyward Sword (Reviews are in!) - backfire - 11-27-2011

Finally played a demo of this. First impressions extremely impressed. The motion controls actually make the game legitimately more challenging but in a fair way. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to take down a single spider, but after I figured it out, found it pretty easy. What really sold me was the boss battle and how non-traditional he was. Also losing my sword about 4 times before I spammed jumping attacks until he drew his own sword, then the demo timed out :-\

Re: LoZ Skyward Sword (Reviews are in!) - EarthlingJohn - 11-30-2011

I am afraid of finishing this game. Don't end ._.
