I honestly think they're allowing to happen during the beta, to see how people can "break their game". So they can fix it later.

Because making games ain't cheap. And these mid tier games have been dying left and right because they barely break even after months on the market... Another way to monetize the game and keep interest in it after launch is a smart move..especially since these mid tier games have been dying left and right for years.

That was the entire point of what I said. They created content to sell later to further monetize the game. SURPRISE! Your game is profitable before release. What do they do? They give that content to those of us that preordered as a thank you.

If it's ready at release, it should be included in the release. I don't believe your assertion that having day 1 DLC is to address how often games are failing, as the first people to do it were motivated purely by greed in the environment of blockbuster franchises.Â

By pre-purchasing PAYDAY 2, you receive the Armored Transport Heist DLC for free when it is released later this year.
