Re: TES V: Skyrim - Dr. Zaius - 11-11-2011

I think it got pretty hyped up for what it is, but the game is still worth the $60.

I like that instead of having amazing graphics some of the time, they went the route of having pretty good graphics all of the time.

The game is pretty much everything I would have expected it/wanted it to be.

And it feels just like oblivion.

More hats than you have.

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Dr. Zaius - 11-12-2011

In the first 24 hours the game was available, I amassed 14 hours of game time.

I could probably write an essay on how much I like this game.

Some pictures from the first 14 hours (though they equate to a spark in a fire from what I've seen thus far).

Background candidates galore

Well, my bro-in-law is playing uncharted still so while hes still playing that, was able to snag his copy of Skyrim.

I'd chose hamster class!

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Greatbacon - 11-13-2011

Engaged in some "casual libertarianism" this afternoon and am now about an hour into the game.

Hot shit am I enjoying myself.  This game is way better than Oblivion.

No offense, but you really should spoiler warning that...

Part of what makes that awesome is that its a complete surprise (to me).

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Eschatos - 11-13-2011

I find it interesting that every guard in this entire game was an adventurer until they took an arrow in the knee.  If only greaves still existed.

Spoiler'd. Didn't do it at first because it
happens really early on in the line.
Also, Dragons can have cinematic kills performed on them.

Re: TES V: Skyrim - backfire - 11-13-2011

Okay... I'm not sure if this interest I have is because I actually think I'll enjoy the game, or if it's just because I can't go 5 minutes without being reminded of it.
