I've been getting a lot of this too. What I think causes it is playing semi-regularly with skilled people results in a higher hidden elo, so when you go back to solo-queueing you get matched with shitty people so the elos average out to decent. Then an enemy team with 5 average people can roflstomp a team with 4 shitty people and 1 good person.
