The singer is James Paul Luna from the band "Holy Grail" and he is AWESOME. Check out the video for "High Speed GTO" from his prior band, White Wizzard for more of him.

I never said that was the song. You wanted to know about the song, and the only info is that the song was done by the singer of White Wizard, which I then included that guys songs. I don't think that song in the trailer is released anywhere and maybe something made for the game in particular.

Listening to the song more, it's nothing more than a commercial jingle for the Tenacious D guitar.
