I'm not sure why people enjoy and praise S.T.A.L.K.E.R. so much. It seemed extremely overrated to me. I would never recommend it, lol.

I kinda want to wait on stalker 2 but at the same time want to play CoP.
Is it good? I liked the general concept behind Clear Sky but the bugs plus the fact that the faction wars were completely broken plus the fact that each area of the game was tiny as hell and you never needed to be in any area other than the ones surrounding the garbage turned me off it and pulled me out of the experience.
Any good mods out for it yet?

I can't take a four pack slot (no money left) but can say that the game was really fun in beta. I just hope they increased the range of options somewhat since then, because modes available were a bit more limited compared to what I was used to in World Party.

At first sound did not work and firing a bazooka crashed the game
apparently what happened with me is a quite common issue, a directx update sorts it out
