I wouldn't necessarily say change your major, but focus on the immediate, get gen eds out of the way as well.
Also at least my personal feeling is college is 50% harder material and 50% learning how to teach yourself. Things aren't spoon fed to you as much, if you don't understand something go to office hours or get into a study group.
And atom is alright right, your peer group has also changed and the bar has been raised.

It's not actually a film school, it's a college that has a good film program. I'm having a lot of troubles with my English course.

So I am doing a small seminar on LAMP webserver setups + Virtual Hosts in a few hours and I was writing up my script for it when suddenly adware fucks me over, closing everything, setting everything to hidden. I get it off but I still have to unhide everything.
