Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - Spore - 06-30-2011

Last year Steam had a massive and unexpected summer sale rivaling that of the holiday one. This year will be no different.

Anyway, discuss.

Any pack worth getting?

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - Squishy3 - 06-30-2011

THQ hit collection seems like a good deal, and Rockstar pack for $39.99 is pretty good.

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - Eschatos - 06-30-2011

Dreamfall and The Longest Journey are on sale for $6.  Both are excellent games.

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - P_R - 06-30-2011

I'm probably going to start vomiting out what little money I have when Steam's servers unclog.

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - Maxon - 06-30-2011

The Rockstar pack is looking very tempting to go back and replay the older GTA's before 4.

Oblivion GOTY is 8.50

Shut up and take my money.

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - backfire - 06-30-2011

Man, I'm glad I already own anything interesting from today's sale.

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - K2 - 06-30-2011

Damn, when the sale first came up SSFIV:AE was down to $26 (despite not being out yet), but it looks like it's back to normal price now.

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - Chief - 06-30-2011

considering buying the id super pack

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - backfire - 06-30-2011

Scratch that, need bit.trip runner. Hopin that deal stays until tomarrow. I'm crazy super broke until tomarrow, and even then I'm not sure if I could afford it :\

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - shoopfox - 06-30-2011

Lead And Gold for like $1 is awesome. I bought that game forever ago and I'm always sad that no one plays it (even though it's been on sale like 40 times)
*edit*
Wow, actually the sale just ruined the game. I joined 10 separate matches and everyone was just whoring for the achievement and would kick you or end the game if you tried to play
Also lol @ the in game DLC prizes. I'd get the Defense Grid one but I don't have the expansion ;_;

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - Maxon - 06-30-2011

I might pick up Lead & Gold possibly.  It was an okay game when I played the trial awhile back. Nothing too great, but some entertainment to it.

Got the Sun.Bathing achievement on BIT.TRIP BEAT -- one more ticket for the sweet summer shades

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - Maxon - 06-30-2011

Anyone else lose the summer group achievement and ticket? I had it, but now it says I don't have it and took my ticket.

Re: Steam Summer Sale: Please Empty Your Wallets - k0ala - 06-30-2011

I have the Lead and Gold game and had the opposite problem, no one would show me how to play, they would just say "YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG" and when I asked what was wrong they would just sputter and say "DON'T DO IT WRONG"

If I mod the crappy out of oblivion, is it a good game?

Surprisingly, yes.

Not as good as New Vegas, or as good as Skyrim will be, but it's solid.
