Brotherhood of Nod Soldier - Azure_Angel - 07-09-2012 After much pressure and pestering, I'm giving in and making a cosplay outfit. I've decided on a Brotherhood of Nod infantry uniform from the Command and Conquer series. This is my reference photo, but I'm having a hard time with the jacket. I wanted to make it from scratch as opposed to finding an existing one and modifying it. My trouble is, I don't know what to use for the outer layer of fabric. I want something that looks and feels tough, but isn't restricting or expensive as hell. Thoughts? Re: Brotherhood of Nod Soldier - at0m - 07-09-2012 First thought is craft foam, honestly, but I'm not sure how well that'd fit your 'looks tough' requirement. I mean the jacket itself, not the armour plating on top of it. My friend gave me some old skater and motocross gear. I'm going to repaint those.
