I liked the part where they said they would not put the lattice back in the game...and then they are toying with effectively putting the lattice back in the game

They tried something....and it didn't work.  Then because they're SOE they dragged their feet for months.  And yea this is still beta.  End of beta may as well have been end of an alpha test XD

This is looking a lot better.  Also not being able to cap the next hex if the previous hex isn't secure is good.  Also sounds like they're making amp station and biolab benefits not suck.  Hopefully cutting a base off will have very serious effects as well - no resources gain added for disconnected hexes, loss of connected benefits both ways and reduced resource acquisition if you're not in a connected hex (so as to not completely screw over spec ops options)
