PC turning it's self on seemingly at random - DragonEkarus - 07-10-2013

For the time being I've taken to removing the power plug when it's not in use, but it's kinda disturbing. I haven't made any hardware changes that I'm aware of, and it's my old windows vista PC I've posted about so many times now.

The power button isn't in a spot where it can easily be pressed on it's own, the PC just seems to turn it's self on in the middle of the night, while I was at work, etc. Thankfully it's not turning it's self off at random either but regardless it's really starting to bug the shit out of me.

Any ideas? I don't have the money to call the Ghost Busters...

It's haunted.

...This is the second time you've suggested this, and considering I see no other alternative at this point how do I go about removing the spirit? Or is this spirit the only thing keeping my PC running at this point...

You must bathe your RAM in holy water.

Call the local tech priests?

Check your power settings?

Maybe it needs a new power switch.
