Also, what is good vs. what is bad is all subjective, I'm fully aware that plenty of people love MOBA's (I know not suppose to call them MOBAs anymore but fuck it that's what they are), and I'm aware that Halo was super popular and so was WoW and plenty of people have fun with them. I've never considered any of these things good, nor fun, my experiences with them all did not result in me feeling like they were good games.
Anyway; working on spinning up a new UT4 server.

Sometimes we play a game you have, maybe sometimes we don't. I highly doubt we will find something we literally all can play together again. There will always be gaps.

I never said GOI shouldn't be played I just said that I won't play. Assuming it has private server capabilities I probably won't take the time to set up a server either as I not only don't have interest if I don't have the game why spend the time?
Nor did I say that it was actually a bad game, I just said whether people's opinion of something is good or bad is subjective.
Anyway, I'm still working on that UT4 hub server, I just upped the hardware and move over to *nix (this means no The Ship server for now unless someone else wants to run one via Windows, Linux just works better on my VPS right now). Plus it has better memory management and UT4 being alpha does sometimes let memory get out of control.
There's this too MINECRAFT IN SPACE! (Server's are cheap as well)

It's open source but you can "Purchase" through Steam (as a way to support its development).

Alright, UT4 Hub Server set up (the machine is configured to handle up to 8 instances if I have to reduce or increase I should have the available resources for it).
Can't connect by IP, find it in the "Find Game" it's named "BRB, Uninstalling", can't miss it. Then generate your game and play.
If people want to come up with custom rule sets for me to add, here is the documentation.

Oh god, not RTS. I'd somehow do better if I turned my guns on myself ;P Been having some fun acclimating to UT in offline matches, it's quite a good Arena Shooter. Been working evenings so I haven't had time to try to organize anything. I'll try to get games of *something* going if I'm home this weekend. UT4 is also free, so added bonus.

Only downside to UT4 is you have to use Epic's launcher, but the upside is it's not a terrible launcher...
