The A-Team - Surf314 - 11-30-2008
So I been finding advanced mostly a breeze and expert so far unbeatable. I'm looking to put together an A-team for tackling some expert movies on the brb server on wednesday or thursday nights. Anyone interested post here. But remember expert is nearly impossible if you don't use teamwork, melee, and can avoid friendly fire.
If you feel that you are up to the challenge sign up and we can start trying to build up some teamwork skills to do all 4 movies. I'm best at the hunting rifle but there should be only one HR on a team. So looking for some good AR and AS players who can stick together and are good with things like crouching and calling out their actions and so on.

That reminds me I need to bind a toggle crouch key. People don't crouch enough myself included. It's really good for letting your teammates shoot zombies off of you without worrying about shooting you. Also it's good for being in doors and other stuff when you use the whole british army tactic. Of course you know that you field the euro A-team.

The whole whining about Expert thing is bollocks anyway. Not to come across as too Dave-esque but you're a bunch of pussies. I'm not the best player by any stretch but it's really not hard to play the game sensibly.

I can get to the finale with a decent team. I haven't been able to seal the deal yet. The trouble is getting a team together that won't quit in frustration.

That may not be too useful (I mostly use HR). What I'd really like is a binding to make ctrl toggle duck instead of having to hold it. That would be perfect.

The simplest way would be to change two side by side keys to + and - crouch
alias +perm_crouch "+crouch"
alias +uncrouch "-crouch"
bind mouse4 +perm_crouch
bind mouse5 +uncrouch
It might fuck with using control though...

there's a 'toggle_duck' command you know. and it doesn't magically summon myself or either of the toiletducks either. just unbind crouch, then bind control to toggle_duck instead. Â
