I guess the new knife could be good, depending on the number of mouth breathing idiots in server and your general spy skills
Oh, pssh. He got some really crazy stair stabs and the like in that video.
[/quote]
Nothing out of the ordinary. The guys he was playing against are nearly brain dead. Only spy-checking I saw was from the demo and his frying pan, even then he got distracted immediately.

When you play with HeK, Merc, and Loq as spies, you start to get really fucking paranoid and actually learn to effectively spycheck

word, Caff -- every time I go pubbing I get whined at by spies.
"omg why the fuck did you turn around just then, for no fucking reason? I could have had an easy backstab"
it's not whether you're paranoid, but whether you're paranoid enough
thanks Merc for being a good spy

Reminds me of one time on dustbowl, last point, I joined and hopped on red, chose pyro and got a funny feeling in my gut. Ran out of spawn facing the dead-end, greet Caff hiding behind the corner waiting to nab a backstab. The rage he let out was positively Didzo-esque.

I've never done that since, never gotten got either.

What. I know I haven't even been playing the game as long as a lot of you folks but I remember watching all the videos a while ago, and all I can say is finally.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Kirby - 03-22-2011

All I want to know is how the hell is Valve going to dig themselves out of their "Meet the ..." video hole they put themselves in, concerning Pyro.

Three minutes of muffled talking.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Kirby - 03-22-2011

Best part is, if Valve were to extend these "Meet the" videos into 10-15 minute shorties and staple them all together, you'd have a 90-110 minute production.

And a gold mine.

???

Profit.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - BS1 - 03-23-2011

It's nice to see what Valve is doing to help with Japan. Anyone who gets the $100 hat gets a thumbs up from me.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Hobospartan - 03-23-2011

I'm seriously thinking about buying them.  I have some money to spare from my tax refund.

I bought the two noise makers. Had money left in my steam wallet and figured "yes, I do like annoying people with a noise". Oh, and that donating part too I guess.

lol, I bought the hats, not the noisemakers.  Got a noble assortment as a random store promo item to go with them.  8)

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Didzo - 03-24-2011

Ok, this is tempting.

Though I already spent $25 on a tshirt to donate money.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - PyroZombie - 03-24-2011

I'll probably do some donating myself. I've wanted to before this, but I really didn't know how when all the ways I hear of are credit-card and cell-phone.

and Meet the Pyro will be dynamic.

You text some # from your cell phone, it's not hard.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - backfire - 04-05-2011

This next update (due today because of the potato hat promised on the 5th) is going to be the 200th update. People are speculating it's going to include a polycount set for engie (this one), new lines, and even Meet the Medic. Someone even said they heard from someone at Valve (so you know it's gotta be true) that this'll be the largest update yet, going along the ranks of the class updates.

Crappy part is, I hopped on, played some last night, and realized that TF2 doesn't entertain me anymore.

Take a break for a while or limit how much you play, anything done to excess will eventually bore you  Tongue

Have you noticed how much I play lately? =p

Hosting FNF last week, I played that night as much as I had in total over the last month. =/
