Uh, I think it's pretty bad we can't toss the sandvich anymore.  This apply to beef steak?  I mean shit, this means we're back to derpy heavy begging god for a medic.  And good luck getting anything resembling a competent medic on a pub.  This was a very unnecessary change.

Going roaming/ambush heavy is much less effective now. Also, using the GRU without a medic is now much more risky and costly as well. My primary use for the toss was healing myself after running to a position I like after using the GRU.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Luca Shoal - 02-23-2012

Exactly. It's a nerf the Heavy honestly and truly needed. He's still pretty overpowered in general play (ie not 'pro' matches and all that. Like general pub games which is probably at least 70-85% of the playerbase/gameplay)

That one night we lost the item server, I kept getting owned and I realize how much my playing style depended on the Wrangler.

Hooray nerf!
It didn't even need it, it's pretty shitty.

And yet Tomislav and Enforcer remain untouched.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Kirby - 03-15-2012

Enforcer needs a double slap with the nerfbat.

Time to go give Gaben more of my money.

The Beta patch notes list a 20% firing rate penalty on the Enforcer, so that might happen.

It's now 96% of the revolver DPS. Good thing I'm getting better with the Ambassador.

I would actually be fine with the time to decloak nerf + accuracy penalty, its a snub-nosed revolved, the way I see it you should decloak at close range and get that damage bonus. But if they turn around while you are decloaking you're fucked.

And trying to use it like the ambassador will get your killed as well...

Use Enforcer like W+M1 pyro uses flamethrower and win.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - [SiN] Merc - 03-17-2012

Well, you don't want to snipe with it, obviously, but I find that waiting just a tick on your shots helps with the retarded spread the revolver/diamondback/enforcer has sometimes. Using it to where you slow down your shots like the ambassador helps wonders, in my eye.

If Valve could get their heads out of their asses and develop a system that controls Steam, content delivery and game launching that didn't crumble to it's knees with every TF2 patch, we may already know.

But the real reason? They're running out of weapons to convert to strange to make new crates with and they need to ensure that there's still a valid reason for crates and keys for much time to come.
