Supposedly engies can also now build a building that when stared directly at by your teammates, crashes their game.

No, I'm not making this up:

Also, us vets who played the game since launch (or 3 months after) get a shiny new medal.

That statue is pretty sweet.

I do want

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - PyroZombie - 04-30-2010

I'm not digging the badge, but I like that statue. Very well put together and....uhh...statuesque.

also, I like the idea of Crit-a-Cola, takes as much as it gives. Giving you a real shot at dying, while giving you a real shot of killing something is the perfect example of balance.

thirdly, Someone on another forum noticed some hidden links.

Quote:In the update notes, bold means the link.

October 25, 2007
Engineer buildings now explode when the Engineer dies during sudden death.

May 21, 2008
Optimized particle traces on multi-core machines.

Nothing completely interesting about the links, atleast to me, but the placement of the links caught the qouted's attention.

Conspiracy, or valve hinting at the engi-update?

Point D, since the burn rates have decreased, I feel the Axtinguisher should receive a power-boost, just slightly, since the the cards have been stacked against it now.

and finally,

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Kirby - 04-30-2010

backburner keeping the old damage is retarded, all they did in the end was nerf the damage to the flamethrower.

The tradeoff for it's loss of CB was 100% guaranteed crits, it makes no sense.

Actually the flame nerf hit both weapons, the buff to the AB is for the normal one only, so it just made the backburner even more useless than it was before. The direct damage nerf also means that it would do less crit damage to the back, which is its "primary" function.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Duck, Duck, Goose - 04-30-2010

Protip: Flare Gun still burns for 10 seconds, so it got a "buff" from the flamethrower nerf.
