Can't complain about the damage buff/nerf for pyro ff/bb.  Do not like flaregun buff or afterburn increase.  Both were perfectly fine before, now it'll be the point where it was pre-nerf, where a pyro just has to touch you for an instant shit-ton of damage.

GL bro, I was pegging people along the farthest open places in warpath and not getting crits at all, I think we need orange to get flare crits

Actually, this.  Orange_X might not be big enough.  I was popping people from miles away and not getting crits.

Anyone else notice it says "Flamethrower changes"? Nice job on the proof-reading, dicks.

As for the update itself, I like the flares long-range concept. That takes more skill then the compression blast, especially after the airblast update. As for the flamethrower update, I liked we torqued the damage to half the original cut, that's at least survivable, but now the afterburn is unforgiving. I think the afterburn shouldn't have been touched in the first place.

Yes, it can deliver(and usually does,according to the basics) the most damage for pyros(Is it pyros or pyroes?) in heavily-contested areas, but the afterburn served as a reminder and warning that the enemy had pyros. It delivers a almost darwinistic reminder not to get close to a known close range killer.

One thing I will say, they will have to crank back on the buffs the pyro received with the air-blast updates, maybe returning back to the basic rate of fire, and ammo consumption rate.

make afterburn do 10 dmg a second for 6 seconds again, the 10 seconds just serves to fuck up classes with 125 hp who can escape or kill pyros
