Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - beep beep diglett - 05-21-2010

actually the ax is really terrible if youre decent at demo because your mobility is basically the same as a bad soldier who cant rocketjump and if youre letting people get into melee enough that more damage on your melee boosts your total damage by a ton, youre bad

actually dude your like a soldier with better jumps (sticky) 25 less hp and ability to do way more damage and spam

obviously its a pointless trade off tho (extra melee damage for movement speed LOL)

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - beep beep diglett - 05-21-2010

yeah but rocket jumps are way easier to set up and actually use during combat, i dont think ive ever purposely sticky jumped in a 1v1 fight unless its like a heavy or an uber

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Radio Raheem - 05-22-2010

i dont care about max dps i just care about fixing the things that have been broken forever and actually matter rather than adding in useless trash. fix the fact that rockets dont do any damage if they hit a verticle edge like a train track or even something on a wall like a fire extinguisher. fix almost all of the "alternative" weapons that are completely useless. fix broken sticky spots like inside the badlands door frames and under gpit a. fix bugged teleporter spots like inside of gpit spawn. add another 5 point map. fix hit registration

theres tons of issues that have been in the game you could be dealing with rather than giving us complete garbage like the homewrecker. people argued for fixed spread and no random damage since beta and it took this long? thats a problem. fix your broken game rather than adding more broken garbage to it

100% agreeing with tim

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - [fr31ns]Karrde - 05-22-2010

Again, I make jokes about Valve making "The Bug Fix Update" and teasing it like any other update, but yeah, srsly.  Fix shit first.

what the hell does this mean.

Field of views in STV?

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - copulatingduck - 05-22-2010

unlockable weapons dont show up in stv. they're basically invisible, so you're holding nothing (to be fair, theyre not completely invisible, they're just always rendered at the map origin lol)

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - beep beep diglett - 05-22-2010

oh also the fov change in spectate, it almost always goes to like 30 fov

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Mission Difficult - 05-22-2010

Just in case anybody cares, drinking Bonk neutralizes the shiv's bleeding.

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - beep beep diglett - 05-22-2010

probably an unintended effect of the invulnerability since medkits dont end it

Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - [fr31ns]Karrde - 05-22-2010

How long do you bleed from shiv anyway?
