Ignore this post for now. So far all the maps I found either a) suck upon further investigation, or b) don't have working download links.

Re: Custom Map Suggetions - Coppanuva - 07-22-2009

Oh oh! I have a suggestion for next week.
http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/74593 It's called skyscraper, and it's like a fusion of the double decker level from bomberman 64 and skyscraper from Mario Kart 64. It's supposed to have fairly short round times, so it might be fun to play a few quick matches on.

Also, Garbage Day (dunno if you all have done it before). It's a King of the Hill map where you try to control the central point for 3 minutes cumulative. It's a fun map and one of the only King of the Hill types I know of for TF2. http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/80910

Re: Custom Map Suggetions - The Generic Name - 08-03-2009

I have a map suggestion: cp_desperados.  If you have not played this map, you should.

What happens is that blu team has to get points A, B, & C in sequential order, the catch: it's all up hill, and its steep.  The map is an excellent place for snipers on red and blu.  So, if you enjoy playing sniper, or just need some practice, this map is for you.  It is a western style map with many buildings, alcoves, and cliffs.  Desperados is a nice enough map that I think should be on server 1, but TFT should be the judge of that.

not really sure what else needs to be said except that the map should be noticed more by the brbu community.

apparently, there is a beta 2 out now, so here is that link: http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/81750

Re: Custom Map Suggetions - zaneyard - 08-05-2009

was coming here to suggest desparados, but it seems someone else already has

Re: Custom Map Suggetions - Duck, Duck, Goose - 08-10-2009

Desparados is a fun map.

Re: Custom Map Suggetions - CaffeinePowered - 08-10-2009

We did desparados a while ago, it was a laggy sniper fest Sad

Especially the lag part, if he's optimized it better it might be worth a go

Odd, used to play it quite a bit on an old server before, no lag. ???

This is actually on #1 Wink

I believe we did it a week that I was out for TFT or it might have been put up for an FNF, can't remember which

Re: Custom Map Suggetions - WTF Joel - 08-19-2009

Must have missed it.

Re: Custom Map Suggetions - Kenny Strife - 08-27-2009

PL_Railroad, or Outback.  I think they changed the name.

It's on rotation on the No Heroes Payload Extreme server if you'd like to see it in action.  It's a long payload map that incorporates some really cool elements and reminds me of Badwater on crack.
