I might as well pick me up a copy at a Target or Gamestop.

Oddly enough, Steam will not accept my cash cards.

Re: BF: Bad company 2? - Squishy3 - 03-02-2010

Awesome, I can't even download it right now because everyone else is. This is why every game should have a preload.
I did now, but it's dumb that I have to revert back to the regular client to do so.

Re: BF: Bad company 2? - Maxon - 03-02-2010

Some great changes in the final release.  C4 no longer dominate crates, they removed the Port Valdez boundary exploit, shielded MG's seem broken in that you can't see ANYTHING, and there were another thing or two that I'm spacing on.

Hit detection could still be better for AR's/LMG's, but I think they got the hit detection working right with snipers.  I was having issues finding that sweet spot, or even getting the headshot right, but it's much better now.  Pistols are still pretty badass.

Does it take more than one C4 to kill a crate now? Or do vehicles just do more damage to them.  And are shotguns still rapesauce?

When it says name it just wants you to give it a name so you  know what it is. Type whatever you want for that.
I think he means the current name that's given by the host as Caff hasn't been able to name it yet.

Mission was right but I still would like to know what the current name is.

Before it was about 4 or 5 to destroy a crate.  Not anymore.  I tossed three on it really quick, ran off, and it did like a noth...like a 1/5th maybe.  No more douchebag ATV suiciders getting the crates instantly.  I don't think shotguns were rapesauce.  If you aren't right on with them, your not gonna hit anything. I see them, but I don't see like an abusing amount of them, so I would say no.  I think pistols kick more ass than shotguns lol

Re: BF: Bad company 2? - KarthXLR - 03-02-2010

Hopefully will be buying tonight.

Re: BF: Bad company 2? - Squishy3 - 03-02-2010

Good fucking job steam, wouldn't even let me switch to the old UI so I can change my download server to one that's not full of people downloading the game.

Remind me why preloads aren't standard for big releases...?

I think EA/DICE had an issue getting it to work properly.
