wow that first one is really ridiculous

how is that easy, I still can't get the hang of it. I can reflect the standard rocket, but it usually does nothing because it's slow on the flipside, And I very rarely reflect DHs, and forget about my aim with it. You really have to learn to manage it correctly.

If you're decent at a respectable shooter, it's not going to be hard. Hell I'm ass at quake, almost never play pyro, but reflecting is pretty easy. You'll get the hang of it eventually, you just need to develop some PC-gaming chops first. "consoles" and "fast-paced shooters" just don't go together

wut he said , but less condescending .. keep practicing ,and you will never play shooters on console again , there goes half of the xbawks library lul.

Yeah, just takes practice, I can usually reflect most things from anything further than point blank range, except for goddamn arrows, I have a hard time seeing them a lot of the time

You have to watch the sniper's model animation, even then there's a slim margin of error

honestly my issue with reflecting is that theres so much shit going on and i kinda freak out and blow it early (hurr hurr) but with the last patch i can just waste 20 more ammo and usually reflect atleast 1 or 2 rockets

[/quote]I doubt it, My friends are the reason I play. They make the games better/fun, not to mention it's alot more relaxed. Mute button is also easier to work.

well you see, all of my reflect-kills have all been from close range. long-range I'm hit or miss, medium range, I suck dick.

I haven't tested this too much, but that's a great tip, I reflected an arrow last night from pretty close by doing this, you the man caffine!

Ranges of less than like 15 feet are where arrows are at their easiest to reflect/kill with, just wait for the sniper model to change when he fires, reflect in the same instant and pow.

I drilled a guy a few days ago twice with his own arrows in the span of like 5 minutes because he kept trying to get in my face like it was making it harder for me  :-\

Re: Pyro Thread - For Reflecting Silly Projectiles at Drunks and Unskilled Soldiers - PyroZombie - 06-15-2010

I got a few more reflect rocket kills tonight! Some of the people I killed didn't even fire the rocket.  I also got acouple of luck-based reflected roller-kills.

Oh and I haven't been able to go to sleep yet.

Re: Pyro Thread - For Reflecting Silly Projectiles at Drunks and Unskilled Soldiers - backfire - 06-20-2010

Krit sentry rocket reflect into medic followed by sentry reflect into pyro pushing me away from the sentry while I was ubered.

God I love pyro.

I bet arrow headshot has its own as well, they've just given reflect flaming arrow its own icon. They also need a reflect baseball icon, since you can technically kill a scout with their own ball...its rarer than a flare though.

I've done this once, it was pretty amazing, sadly wasn't on brb.u though

They got those too. They added in every possible reflect kill now. They even added a natasha and fan killicon.
