$10 says it creates more.

I love how they make no mention of the fucked up unlock descriptions.

The patch was actually gonna be out Monday, but they found crashes with the patch and pulled it at the last minute, so you were almost $10 bucks richer lol

I'm still gonna hedge that shit and say $10 on something still getting fucked.  ;D

On a totally unrelated note, I unlocked magnum ammo last night.

=x

GOL with magnum ammo is teh fun.

Re: BFBC2 Patch Today - Spore - 03-16-2010

I don't know if this is already big news in the Bad Company 2 community, but SecuRom is being patched out of the Steam version of the game.

Why must it take so much effort to fix things that should be in every PC game to begin with

Right?

I really can't believe DICE has let the game sit out for what, 3 or 4 weeks with such core functionality broken like it is.

Makes me wonder if DICE has a QA dept.

Re: BFBC2 Patch Today - Turtle - 03-17-2010

DICE has the IQ of actual dice.

Re: BFBC2 Patch Today - zaneyard - 03-17-2010

Yeah we still can't play the game without putting a machine in a DMZ
so it's impossible for my brother, who recently bought the game, to play when i am.

so i might not be playing as much idk

If your ISP allows more than one WAN IP address per modem, get a cheap $20 switch (not router) and hook it in between your modem and router, flip one PC over to the switch to get IP address from ISP DHCP server, not router, hook other PC back into router when done.

It's ghetto but it will work, providing your ISP allows more than one WAN IP.

Re: BFBC2 Patch Today - Maxon - 03-22-2010

Small patch was tossed out today.  Not sure what it did yet.

*EDIT*
Eh, didn't do too much.

Changes:
• Server browser downloads 100 entries instead of 500 in a chunk – this makes the “Cancel” button more responsive
• Fixed crash during server browser refresh
• Low-level networking library switched back to the optimized version (the game client was temporarily running with one that had more debugging logic in it)
• Localization fixes in the scoreboard
• Server browser ping handling code modified
