Don't you dare close your eyes!

Re: Completly New World - sk8mystery23 - 05-02-2011

Gotta wait till may 16th for the poll to close? I'll have re-lost interest by then.

Re: Completly New World - backfire - 05-02-2011

wait for 1.6 to come out. He's gunna include official SMP Nether then.

Re: Completly New World - at0m - 05-02-2011

I only want a new world if my shit gets imported into it ;x

Re: Completly New World - Kirby - 05-03-2011

Newsflash:

Minecraft isn't a game that will keep people interested for more than maybe a month.

New map votes every 2 months isn't going to fix that. This is what, the 4th or 5th one since demon put up the server?

Yeah and they all voted for a new map but it is my understanding that Demon didn't want to put Fail Reactor out of the loop and since most of them haven't played much lately, so I'd like to get a new world that everyone builds new stuff.

An honest-to-goodness totally new world would actually probably tempt me to play again. For a little while, at least Wink

Re: Completly New World - at0m - 05-03-2011

The frustrating thing is that the people that want to build new stuff, have admin access and can do so relatively quickly. Throwing out everyone else's hard work is a pretty big bonekill.

Nope. I don't have any extra privileges. No more then anyone who has first joined the server yesterday.

Yeah, it'd be fun to see everyone on an equal footing. It takes away a lot of sense of accomplishment to spend weeks building a fortress, only to have someone over the next hill build a 3,000 foot glass sphere while flying around shooting diamonds.

Re: Completly New World - at0m - 05-03-2011

Having done both, I can tell you that using hax is definitely better for getting results, but I'm neither as relaxed or as proud of what I've accomplished :/

I lol'd so hard at this.

Re: Completly New World - Luca Shoal - 05-03-2011

If we do a new world, I vote Biospheres.

I don't know if we can do this for the server. I know it's a client side mod. I'd have to look into it.

Also how about I put up a vote for if we have a builder group that anyone brbu/non-proby can apply for. How about I just do that now, so anyone who wants to have worldedit privileges, PM me. At0m you already can use it.

Re: Completly New World - Totla - 05-04-2011

I'd say make a new world when summer's started for most people. Hopefully with the increased free time that'd encourage people to get on more.

Re: Completly New World - VeraLapsa - 05-14-2011

So since the results are for a new world I think when bukkit is updated to 1.6 we will start a new world.

Edit: or maybe on the last day in May

Re: Completly New World - Stein - 05-16-2011

Sweet. I was basically just pissed that i built a house but then it got overrun by a forest so I couldn't go outside any more without blowing up. Then I got flymod, and all was good, but then flymod was banned.
