So I called Apple - Surf314 - 04-28-2008

And they had to replace my logic board.  And they are doing some tests.  But it seems that it lives, and the woman says my hard drive is untouched.  It should be shipped out today.

Someone should make a commercial about these things.  Apparently the rumors of Mac computers being infallible are not true.

Yea I've got to take it back again.  It's working intermittently.  At least I got a chance to back it up this time.  Also I got my desktop cleaned up so I've got that as a fall back too.

Oh, a critical failure screen in multiple languages! Windows certainly doesn't offer that, and I don't even think Linux does. How thoughtful of Apple. Tongue

Not thoughtful, lazy. Running a language-version of any of those OSes will give you an error in the languauge you're running (presumably your native language). Tongue
