From the dive down to the wet
Usually I fall, tell myself
It doesn’t matter anyway

That this is just another day

I don’t speak the truth too much
Hear the roars and the hush
And the cold chill of time

And I’m happy murderin’ my mind

Not really being a debbie-downer, he is just expressing his opinion. A lot of electronica does sound fairly alike to the untrained ear.

Instead of getting all mad and being like “NO UR MUSIC SUX”, I would actually really like to hear what kind of music you are talking about. Pull a track for me that has similar production values, uses modal harmonies, Alberton Live 808s, and multiple time signatures and we can compare tracks.

I always love discovering new music, particularly if it is any good.

heh i was just noticing he said something similar on the lulz too Smile regardless - to the song you posted... it has to do with being musically trained (in this case digital music vs instraments)... it's why things I listen to are consitered absolute crap to others that don't realize whats actually going on in it... and also why the shit that is mainstream pop today is considered talent (bc it's catchy)

Variations on a Korean Folk Song

We're playing this in band.

Asphalt Cocktail

The all-state band is playing that, and I'm going to see it on Saturday. If you don't want to watch the whole thing skip to 5:00, because there's a garbage can.

"Give Us This Day" 1st Movement

And the top band is playing that (i'm in middle band). First movement is good, second movement is amazing.

It's not bad or anything, but it's not really DnB......

Here is another track from B-Complex that isn't DnB, but is slightly closer to the 4 on the floor that you linked:
