luls are rums. i would give you +1 , but you are getting too close to me in karma.

@copulating: tewtaly vent for in game , but for sho IRC beforehand. too many people talking at once can mess up the comms, or i can go afk for 2 mins and read the chat log, unlike vent where you can miss it totaly

I would smite you, but then no one would ever over-take your lead.

And that is how the cold war started, kids.

Re: Official Game Calendar - FlyingMongoose - 06-22-2008

so I successfully managed to get Wedge connected to my machine via CIV 4 on legitimate official copies, mine was steam, his was non-steam. must have version 1.6.1 patch. For those who are interested down the line.

Y'know, I once had to play Pocket Bike Racer for an hour on a test session.

Re: Official Game Calendar - Squishy3 - 06-22-2008

I'm currently "acquiring" Civ4.

Goose was running Civ IV base, I had all the expansions, but was just connecting with base Civ IV.  As for pirated copies, my base Civ IV was legit, but I'm using the noCD .exe so getting an .iso of the game, patching it, and putting the noCD on should work fine (the game doesn't have any registration or cd-keys or anything).

Re: Official Game Calendar - Vandamguy - 06-23-2008

=D
civ4 lives again.
hopefully with better oganization this time.

Same. Also, not sure how one would go about adding cracked expansions to that; I don't wanna pay the $40 or whatever steam market price is for the expansions.

Re: Official Game Calendar - Eschatos - 06-23-2008

*acquire* both expansions somehow.  They add a ton to the game, especially Beyond the Sword.

Re: Official Game Calendar - Squishy3 - 06-24-2008

My attempt to acquire civ4 has failed.

Re: Official Game Calendar - Surf314 - 06-24-2008

The calender is getting a re-org soon, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it and how much democratix would be wise.
