Manpurse - fyre - 06-23-2008

I need something to carry my stuff. Books (not textbooks), water bottle, MP3 player and headphones, cellphone, DS, Asus EEE (if I get one), etc. Any recommendations?

I bet you sport a Timbuk2 bag don't you Ianki?

Re: Manpurse - Eschatos - 06-23-2008

Messenger bag ftw.

Re: Manpurse - Versus - 06-23-2008

Buy a very large athletic cup. That is all.

Messenger bag, yeah.

Re: Manpurse - Ianki - 06-23-2008

Chrome bags are serious win.  Padded strap, buckle for major cool points, breathable backs, space on the inside while not being huge.

If i was cool, i would have one.  I still sport a backpack, because i'm not one of the cool kids and i carry way to many books around.

Re: Manpurse - KarthXLR - 06-23-2008

Why not just a backpack?

Re: Manpurse - Surf314 - 06-23-2008

I like satchels, but that's just me.

Actually, I have an ammo satchel sporting the Red Star from the greatest army in the world. Picked it up at an army surplus store. </communist>

I have a Tumi messsenger bag and an Adidas back pack.  The Tumi is a little metro and too expensive but it works.

Re: Manpurse - fyre - 06-23-2008

Yea, I'm thinking a messenger bag. Anyone have any suggestions for under $50? Preferably something that isn't really bright colored.

Too big, I don't wanna look like a student if I'm not in school, and I don't like wearing them on my back anyway.

True fact: I am one half Finnish.

Re: Manpurse - rumsfald - 06-23-2008

chrome are cool but heavy and expensive and may be a bit large for the proposed contents.

waterfield http://www.sfbags.com/ has some decent designs, but some are large, some are too purse-like, and all are pricey.

i just wind up using whatever free shit bag work gives me, currently a dell, because I break them all too often to spend too long picking one or too much dough.

Re: Manpurse - ainmosni - 06-23-2008

Just get a backpack, more comfortable, bigger, more practical and less associated with you being a lil' bitch. *grin*
