Thats a really neat article, skipping over disk sectors to make it readable for both, Id love to know how they made a program to write the data like that.

It's more likely just a 'massaged' fat with all the C64 data marked as bad. Easy enough to do once you know whats going on the disk.
Not knowing how C64s read media, I cannot explain how the C64 is able to read the remainder, but it's prolly a similar trick.

Also, that diskette trick is cool. Kinda like how the old hackers used video memory to decompress files. Caused a neat psychotropic effect, too.
