Pay attention, this is how you write an editorial, you back up every assertion you make

http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/talk/blogs/a/m/americandad/2010/03/an-open-letter-to-conservative.php?ref=recdc

Only problem with their editorial is that they aimed it at Conservatives. If they had started it with Dear GOP or Dear Republicans then sure I could actually support that. But the things they mentioned and cited are not conservative values. Conservatives didn't support bank bailouts, conservatives didn't support the stimulus package, conservatives support PAYGO (as long as congress has the authority to spend on a particular program which 9 times out of 10 they don't). Conservatives don't support members of congress voting themselves treasure on the backs of tax payers.

Conservatives demand lawful government as enumerated in the Constitution and explained by the founding fathers. Not the twisted interpretations that are changed by the whims of the moment.

The GOP and the Democrats have become one party with 2 marketing departments.
[/quote]

Someone should make a big flow chart about who actually did what.

Just consider yourself a Libertarian and those to be separate values that are neither liberal nor conservative :-*

So people are trying to tear down Lowell Mason's house. Thought it was interesting.

For those of you who don't know who Lowell Mason is:

He was the first (or one of the first) music educators in an American public school system. Boston school board wouldn't let him teach music in public schools so he negotiated and taught one year without pay. Lowell Mason is pretty much considered the founding father of American music education.

WW2 propaganda posters are some of the most amazing creations IMO, as art, as propaganda and as advertisement. If I was rich I'd totally buy one.

Somebody is about to get eliminated. Or more likely, a small group is about to get eliminated. Google doesn't even hold the market majority in China.

No, but it sends a very clear signal, Google isn't the only western company that has been getting dicked over by the Chinese government, if companies start taking their ball and going home its going to spell bad news for their economy.

Google has yet to show any evidence of government aided tampering in China. Google just can't compete in China's market so now they want to look like the victims.
