But if everybody games why do they need a separate con?  Aren't most cons already very LGBT friendly?  The project says that online gaming is bigoted, but thats just the XBL talking...

Cool idea nonetheless.  Any event focused on being good people is fine by me.

Intriguing but too bad it's in SanFran.
I think Ellen McClain & Sniper VA are just listed as guests for the 2013 con. That's usually how it works with guests--usually they are invited back if they are well-received by the con-goers.

It's not about guilt. I was trying to explain (because you asked) why some people would want a separate con. Just because most cons look LGBT friendly to you doesn't mean they look that way to everyone. Some folks might want a separate con where they could let their guard down a bit more, or focus on their issues a little bit more.

It's very surreal every time I see pictures of the surface of another planet. To see that Mars has dirt and rocks that look like ours here on Earth. I guess what really amazes me are the many similarities between two places tremendously far apart from each other.

Well, technically all the planets coalesced from the same gaseous nebula, so I'd expect them to all be of similar 'stuff', pics from Venus/Mars/Titan all look somewhat similar to earth because they all have an atmosphere. Any rocky planet with an atmosphere is going to have some qualities you can tie back to scenery on earth.

That's just a theory.

Damn that's cool!
[/quote]I'm guessing the blue is from the atmosphere, or is there really a ton of blue rock on Mars?

I am aware of that, and that's what is amazing to me. So similar yet so foreign.

Not even finished reading it yet, but this is how you want corporations to run. It's a lengthy read, but satisfying all the same.
