So you want them to continue to mislead kids?
Kids listen to this? I mean, I'm Christian, and even our kids aren't this stupid. You really don't give us enough credit.

Some people are aware enough to make decisions for themselves, whether it be to believe or not to believe in what they were raised with.

...Most however do not and eat up whatever people tell them.

Karth has gained many respect points from me for his remark.

Some of them are. I know lots of kids who believe that stuff. I know lots of people who I grew up with who are adults now, but still believe it. Some people believe what they are told, some do not. I just happen to be one of the ones who didn't.

(I'm not positive, but I may have used that schoolbook myself. I know I used books from the same publisher.)

All that said, I tend to think parents have the right to teach their kids whatever the fuck they want, short of telling them they should kill, rape and steal.

Re: Neat stuff (non-lulz but interesting things) - Sponson - 06-08-2009

How does one suddenly become athiest. Wouldn't it be a gradual change of perspective and reasoning, thus unable to locate a specific period where they would have changed their belief?

Seeing as I did this, yes your right, but there were specific points in time when the doubt first entered my mind, and when I definitely became an atheist.
