what do you think... will they be able to sue?  It's tough to make a blanket rule on this type of thing obviously, but I think in their case they probably have a pretty good chance

Yeah the PR guy from that sherriff's dept was on Bubba the Love Sponge this morning. The dude would've died without help, and ended up with just a couple scrapes and bruises.

[/quote]The Supreme Court's job is to make blanket judgements where possible. I hope something comes of this, because it's a travesty.

I think it highly depends on the conduct of the prosecutors, did they 'in good faith' act according to evidence they assumed to be correct and truthful, or did they knowingly hide or obstruct evidence that would prove the defendant innocent. I believe there are discovery requirements that already make this practice illegal since both sides are supposed to have the exact same information in a criminal trial.

Supposedly they knowingly built a case against innocents. As in they knew they were innocent but decided to prosecute because they thought it would be an easy win so they stacked the evidence against the people including coaching the witnesses. I don't even think they are denying this since their defense is that you have no constitutional right not to be framed. Basically the onus is on the defending attorney.

This skin for the blue spy that I found was kind of cool I thought. There is a Lupin one as well apparently for the red spy by the same guy but I dunno where it is. I just found this a bit neat and put it up.
