No hacking, just aiming COTS gear at the right bird.
The video feeds are unencrypted for latency purposes and since they are extremely time sensitive, they are considered classified for only a few seconds. Kinda pointless unless you wanna watch your pals get blown up.
The telemetry and C2 feeds are propitiatory, binary, authenticated and encrypted.
I used to watch between-broadcast CNN newscasts and unedited news feeds the same way at a friend's place back in university.

Hmm. Is it any worse then FF4 GBA's, because that's was manageable. I was kind of curious to try the new translation as well, see all the stuff that got censored and so forth.
