[/quote]I meant mainly overzealous enthusiasm for the game. It has definitely brought awareness of the mini game to more 'mainstream' PC gamers, but its hard to find anyone locally that plays >_<

so i tried the DoWII beta, started up a skirmish against an easy comp just to get a feel for it. i'm gonna miss the base bulding :-\

the tyranids are pretty rad i must say, but will require more strategy than others since they're pretty weak -- armor wise. you better watch your face when they get into melee though

Total war doesn't count, it's mostly turn based and you build lots of bases to get units.
