Thats because in the MMA world boxing and kickboxing are the only way to go (well that and the addition of JuJitsu).  Not only is Muay Thai just that powerful for a martial arts but it doesn't have the rankings and the special techniques and so forth.  Instead you go in for a week or two pretty much learning all the moves you need to know and the rest of the time is conditioning and perfecting your technique.

Yea a lot of the people there are MMA fighters.  But for that I wish I could see a ninjitsu dude fight.  Did you see the one one fight science or whatever?  He had the lethal hammer fist?

Been doing militant taiji instead lately. A lot less strain on the body but you still learn some cool shit.
