i've made it to space mode as a tree huggin herbivore hippie , and as a warmongering carnivore , i prefer carnivoring.

when you get to space mode the game really pads out with things to do

just had an epiphany about spore here. about how we're missing out on the DLC.
we only need one person to be legit , and we can have him/her zip the DLC after downloading it all ..

you establish trade routes with other cities, they should've appeared by now

Spore consists of one stage... the Space Stage.  Everything else is just a character creator leading up to that (seriously, you can beat any of the other stages in half an hour or less).
