Hi, I am Hudson. I am here from invite from Caff. He coulda picked someone with greater skill, but we must have at least had some fun one night. I am Canadian, I live in Michigan, make video games for a living, and love motorcycling. That one dustbowl map tonight was probably the most fun TF2 I have ever had. So back and forth, tilting toward either team at any point. It was awesome to hear so much communication going. And to see the skill...was really something. Look forward to playing with you guys more often... |

Yes that was some epic pick up. And best of all...I wasn't chosen last! *very proud* Didn't play my best by far, but Kor gave some great leadership.

Welcome Hawk, great work last night, I hope we can have you around for more then just TF2!

Welcome, that pick up was epic. So awesome. And I had so many amazing bone saw kills on broma. I officially love that map.
Also glad you are here, if for no other reason than I can say "Hudson Hawk is the greatest movie ever" everytime I see you join the server. Best terrible movie ever. |

Thanks for the welcomes. Heh, it is sorta the best worst movie, isn't it? My name being Hudson, it's just the callsign I have used ever since Quake. I am used to those "raving" about the movie  Maybe I could have a unique tag. Instead of "BRB,U!", it could be "HH,BWME!". As for games I worked on, you all probably don't know them as they are in the racing genre. In a brief stint at EA, I worked on Madden. Now I work for another small company, making a hard core racing simulation...which is what I love. Back to the fun stuff, that pickup was awesome. And the team picking was cool too, and made it more fun to be on one side versus the other somehow. |

We should start up a win/loss chart for captains. It could be useful if we get into some competitive matches. The captain is definitely like the goalie or pitcher, a good one can pick a great team and organize everyone for great results.

One thing that Ive noticed is that we always seem to have fairly even teams. Even one time I remember Scotty and Kor were picking and the teams got stacked with like Kor, Vandam, Budr, and me on the same team. We thought it would be a steamroll on warpath and we almost lost and then fought to a draw. Guess that just goes to show that good team work trumps a bunch of individual skill.  Sig by Joel |

I remember being behind one of them ubers and everyone killed everyone else and I'm standing on the point hacking away at a soldier that didn't even notice me and I'm the last guy standing and I'm just thinking I've almost killed this soldier, all I gotta do is take care of his medic who doesn't notice me either and not many people are a match for my saw skills, I might just be able to do this. Yea I'm gonna win it. We really are gonna take this. I just gotta hold out a little longer and any second the slow-pokes from my team are going to rush up and we will win.
Then I spontaneously explode and the screen shot is an army of your team rushing out of your spawn rooms. /hopes and dreams It was so epic though. Also I need to start taking screen caps. That'd be one to bust out with that story when we are sitting around the campfire, metaphorically speaking. |

Record more demos! The most current demos still playback with the current engine build. Only the old ones get phased out. edit: And by phased out, I mean Source engine updates break older demos so that they don't play properly.
