Yeah, I made the mistake of getting the Machine Gun on my first playthrough. Being able to boost with it is nice, but the second booster you can get totally makes up for that. The Spur is a beast. |
Blade Level 2 (not 3) is the best weapon in the game in terms of damage output/per second, and as such is fantastic against bosses (just get in close and start spamming it as fast as you can,) so I'd go with it. Nemesis is great in it's own right, but your gonna need all the help you can get. |

Personally I prefer the blade, but most of the speedruns of Hell I've seen use nemesis as their primary weapon.

I bought it because I owe Pixel and Nicalis money.

Was gunna say huzzah in big red letters, but then I realized the size tags broke.
Can't wait to pick this up. Gotta wait until thrusday when I actually have some money, but then I'm diving right into a hard run. Can't wait to go insane playing through Hell at hard difficulty. Quote:âAs youâve all noticed, thereâs a lot of weird things going on with the audio, for instance: drum tracks not playing (there is actually drums in the music files we provided), instrument changes delayed, unbalanced mixing. I discovered this yesterday by watching âLetâs Playâ videos, and [I] am as disappointed as you. Nicklas and me have [asked many times] to sound check the game, but thatâs not really something we had control over. Of course, the music is still questionable, but I just wanted to say a few words about it since people start to associate us with all the audio oddities in that game. Thatâs quite embarrassing, especially because I feel like weâve done the job seriously considering limitations we had and time we spent sorting them out.â - Yann van der Cruyssen That sucks. |
