Well I'll try and book a hotel room (no "con hotel" bah) as soon as they post something. I suggest those interested do the same and we can just cancel if needed like we do for ACEN.

Me and my sister are considering flying down next year if I can manage to book a table, and we won't be doing any hotel arrangements before then. I've gone once before. Con is gigantic. The masquerade seems to be really competitive. I didn't like how packed it was, because I felt like there was not as much of a sense of community. There's not a lot of hotels near the convention center but they have crappy shuttles going to it and back nearly all day, and the shuttle stops at most hotels in the area.
