Serious Sunday 06-28

Greetings one and all!

We're running a brb.u Serious Sunday on June 28, 2009 at 7 EDT (4 PDT). I will be "in charge" of this shindig, so direct all questions to myself (if you really hate me, then talk to Spore). 

What do I need to join in the fun?
This week, our options are as follows:
Far Cry (1)(coop) ($10)
Svencoop (HL1) (free mod)
Synergy (HL2) (free mod)
DOOM
Hamachi
Vent?

Need help finding the game or have any issues getting it to run?

We did some Synergy last week, and it was ok, but we had a hell of a time getting everyone connected well.

I didn't even know FarCry had co-op.  And I probably don't feel like installing all 4 discs of my old CD copy again.

It's a mod. Spore and I are figuring it out right now before we link other crap.  May need to put off FC for next week.

Source port*, and it will be Skulltag. Download Skulltag and an Ultimate Doom and Doom2 wad. All of those should be easy enough to find.

Update: new skulltag version came out.  Update your game before SS, since a few people who are coming today didn't download until just now.  Less problems is good problems.

Skulltag is a source port? I thought it was just a game mode, and not the successor to Boom/ZDoom. Shows how long I've been out of the Doom scene...
