Looks like the PC port will be out next month. I've watched friends play the 360 version of this, and the MP looks fun as hell. I'll probably have to crank the graphics way the fuck down to make it playable for me, but the gameplay should be worth it, assuming the PC version doesn't suck ass.

Bump. Despite there not being enough LOD Graphic options for my liking (my 8600GT is just not up to the task of rendering high poly and nice textures in 1920 x 1200 ;P ), I gotta say, breaking shit is a hell of a lot of fun. The first thing you get to do in the SP game is blow up a tower and watch it fall over
  Highly entertaining. I think once I get MP up and running, I'm probably gonna really like the gamem mode where your goal is to dismantle your opponent's base (or protect and repair when on defense)

This just in, multiplayer is good fun. Unfortunately, lazy port is lazy. Seems party matchmaking doesn't work, voice doesn't seem to work with my headset, no chatbox, and very limited LOD options (can't even turn the texture quality down). Still worht the money and I've got it in a playable state, but console devs need to learn to do a little extra work when porting. to PC.

Well, Volition isn't exactly a console developer, or at least they weren't originally (Freespace/Descent lineage)... but yeah they didn't even do the port, it was outsourced like a lot of devs do these days. Speaking of not sucking PC ports, WTF happened to SF IV anyways? You started the thread for it forever ago but never play it as far as I can tell.

Nursing school happened
 I went for like 2 weeks without playing anything at all. ANd I tend to like FPS better  SF4 is fun, I just have like zero gaming time.

If I had a better system, this would be running great. Still worth it though. SP is a lot like the original PS2 Mercenaries game (not the meh second game). I always enjoy "Grand Theft Army" type games
