selling is using things like the lost soldier souls, but don't use them unless you're at a vendor and want to buy something, because if you die you can lose them

This game is quite possibly the best game I've ever played.  Most of my free time for a long time is gonna be going into this.  Right now I'm trapped between two really hard bosses on two sides, and a town full of ghosts on another.

I wanna get this so bad, but between Guild Wars 2, Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2, I'll have absolutely no time for Demon's Souls 2. There's just not enough hours in the day.

i wouldn't really call this a difficult game insofar that the enemies AI is well written to make combat difficult. rather that the games difficulty comes from a lack of control over your own character and one-shot-one-hit kills that you will have a hard time avoiding. which makes this more frustrating than difficult

What do you mean by "lack of control over your own character?"  I personally thought movement felt fluid and responsive, unless you're wearing heavy ass armor that slows your character down.

made it up to the taurus demon and in that fight the problem was dodge rolling out of the way of his nonsense. dodging was hard because my bro wouldn't stop his sword swing animation and dodge when i pressed the button.
that to me counts as a lack of control over my character.

I wouldn't really count not having the ability to animation cancel as a lack of control, but to each his own.

And you get Sleeping Dogs with AMD cards, so that's a push.  I'd rather have that since Borderlands isn't going to be the full game until a year later when all the DLC is out.  If the 660 ti's were $50 less I would've gone with one already, but I'm trying to hold out for a good deal (~$300) on a 7950 with an OCable cooling solution for something more future proof.

Is that the Mother's Mask?  Been a while so I forget.  It's funny how they said there were no upgraded textures for PC, but running at a proper resolution shows that the equipment textures were too high resolution for the blurry original game in the first place.

Child's mask actually, for the bonus stamina regen.  The family masks got nerfed in the port, but it plus elite knight armor and my greatsword put me just under 50% burden with a ring of favor and protection and anything I want in the other ring slot.
