This is so awesome it deserves its own thread

Quote from a thead on the site...

Quote:Most interesting experiment thus far:

Civilians: 10000
Armed: 10%
Accuracy: 60%
Zombies: 100
Direction: North
Speed: Fast
Infection Time: 5 sec
Police: 8
Police Accuracy: 100%

I was trying to simulate a few skilled survivors being able to weather the storm and actually survive. Final result:
Civillians alive: 0
Zombies: 5752
Dead Zombies: 4355

A single police man survived the horde. He started out in the North west when the infection was still at a class 2. He ended up with several armed civilians nearby which helped him get through the bulk of the wave. Although those civilians eventually fell, he is actually still wandering around shooting zombies in the north, while the bulk of the horde lies to the south east. A duo of police officers in the west looked like they were going to survive for a little, but were eventually overrun. Hopefully he can eventually meet up with other little sim-survivors from other areas. (I picture him being a retired army vet named Bill, who will eventually make his way to PA and meet up with a biker, a black office worker, and a young white female...)

Dude I had a group of like 5-6 survivors holding up inside of a building and they managed to hold off any zombie hordes that came near them.

I set civvy weapons to 100% and thier skill at 10%.

meh, i did the exact opposite, there is no reason to miss at those ranges.  accuracy 100%, 10% armed, there were pockets where a cop and a couple armed civilians lasted a really long time.
